§ 71-13. Statements of appeals.

Any person allegedly aggrieved as a result of an action or failure to act by the Code Enforcement Officer in regard to the enforcement of this chapter shall have recourse to the Board of Public Service. Statements of appeal must be addressed to the Board of Public Service and submitted to the Office of the City Clerk. Statements of appeals must be submitted within 10 days of the date of a violation notice or alleged failure to act. Appeals must be in written form and must clearly identify the action or failure to act that is being appealed. A statement of appeal must include a detailed explanation of the basis, reason and justification for the appeal.
